An open-letter to BARACH HUSSEIN OBAMA, President-elect

[Having been informed whether through their own ‘puffery’ or self-idolizations of themselves on their websites being Salon, or Slate, or various other sites on the worldwideweb – that you frequent their rarified sense of place and concerned appointment – this letter of thoughts and suggestions is specifically designed and posted in the hope it gains you some fresh insights and might perhaps inspire fresh contemplations or visions for your administration. Zyskandar A. Jaimot, Orlando, Fl. 32819]

The greatest ‘problem’ facing you among others – is the rampant cost and administration of health care. (25 years ago I sent a 19 page proposal to my then Congressional Representative BARNEY FRANK of MASSACHUSETTES – outlining measures to be taken to ensure the individual state’s response to this crisis. MASSACHUSETTS utilized many of the provisos of this plan – except the payment by all of the citizens earning income to in effect ‘compete’ with ‘private insurers’. As this proposal was made at the start of the ‘internet age’ – i have a copy of the type-script addressing the funding/allocation of individual state’s monies and furthering their own agencies.[i.e., health facilities, military bases, pharmacies, health clinics, etc.] The proposal mandates that ‘coverage’ is defined to the dependent unemancipated unique family members not encompassing membership en toto as most if not all municipal-teachers/police/fire-fighters/public-works employees, as well as city, county, governmental programs do at present. THIS WOULD ELIMINATE IN LARGE PART PEOPLE ‘ACCEPTING/TAKING’ JOBS JUST FOR THE MEDICAL COVERAGE BENEFITS – NOT BECAUSE THEY WERE PROFICIENT OR ACTUALLY ENJOYED ‘WORKING’ IN THE RECQUIRED OCCUPATION. This would also bolster the related tangential health/medical facilities in the individual state’s without further cost to the Federal Government.)
By employing these measures or a variant thereof – basic HEALTH CARE could be allocated to all with corresponding simplicity of using the data base already available. As you have ‘stated’ that HEALTH CARE for unemancipated children is of high concern for your incoming administration – these proposals might prove helpful to that vision. These are also posted in the hopes it may inspire further thought/ideas regarding these issues.

As far as aiding the AUTO INDUSTRY – i probably would be diametrically opposed to your plans/ideas; but what I would like to suggest is reinstating the ‘taxpayer’ write-off of scheduled installment payments as regards AUTO LOANS. This would help/encourage the AUTO INDUSTRY as well as the consumer.

Also in regards to the leasing/buying/selling of real-estate property/homes. Change the ‘tax-laws’ so that owners are not encouraged to keep vacant properties unsold/unleased for tax advantages. Deductions for real-estate should only be allowed
for domiciles of principal residence – and only up to a specified limited value, say of $675,000.00dollars for a single family unit.

The only ‘warning’ i would have for you is that the increase in government visa vis governmental employment is not conducive
to a flourishing or robust economy. Having made these observations/suggestions i wish you + your family and your entire administration the very best with its undertakings during this
Christ’smass and holy season for us all.
