The EMMY AWARDS selections this year are an overall impressive bunch - from exceptional mini-series such as 'JOHN ADAMS' produced by TOM HANKS on HBO to great weekly shows like 'MAD MEN' on TNT, to bravura performances from actors/actresses such as HUGH LAURIE starring as Dr. GREG HOUSE on the show 'HOUSE' on FOX, to HOLLY HUNTER as Detective GRACE HANADARKO on 'SAVING GRACE' on TBS, to the quirkiness-antics of TONY SHALHOUB as Adrian Monk on 'MONK' also on TBS - to all of the other nominees --- this year's EMMY contingent is outstanding!!!
