The 'lost season' of the NEW YORK YANKEES!!!

Yes I am aware that DEREK JETER is having a fantastic batting season leading the major leagues at .380 and his teammate JORGE POSADA is close behind at .365!!! True that ALEX RODRIGUEZ equalled the records for home runs in April at 14!!! Equally true that the 45year old pitcher 'ROCKET' ROGER CLEMENS should give some lift to a 'battered pitching staff'!!! And yes it is only MAY - but the NYYankees are not playing .500 ball!!! Yes they could surge - and I and many doubt it -I fervently hope they become competetive and this is just a 'LOST SEASON' for a pro team!!! WAIT UNTIL NEXT YEAR STARTS WITH THE NEXT SERIES!!! SAY IT AIN'T SO-O-O-O IUE TOREE - PLEASE!!!
