Wrong. That is what someone would thinkm by seeing CellPhonesFor Soldiers. But what they actually do is sellthe olp phones to a recycler, then use the money to by phone cards.
There are reasons for this. Old phones would need smart people equipped to fix them. Shipping cell phones around the world would cost a lot. Cell phones work on different systems around the world. Even if they didn't, you can't just turn on any old phone anywhere and make a call. Your phone has to be signed up on a plan.
