Xmas at the Mall in true DRUIDIC FASHION
They are naked young women
wrapped with mist and dagger winds -
Two girls, painted like Druids in dark lipgloss,
preening at unblemished reflections
in mirrors bound with mistletoe and scented oak.
Both of them hunger
for yet another sacrificial slave.
Bangled loops of silver hanging from earlobes,
flushed pink with seasonal desire.
Hoping their innermost wishes will be
satisfied.They move among stacked piles,
hideous polyester vestments,
atrocious colours and patterns
atop capitalism's table altars.
Each would-be priestess of fashion wondering;
"How do we get ugly virgin shirts
like these -to just go away and die"?
