The 'troubles' with POPE PIUS XII...

POPE PIUS XII has been accused of various acts of sacrificing JEWS, GYPSIES, HOMOSEXUALS to the NAZI'S in WWII while he was POPE - when supposedly he could have done much more for them. PIUS XII was the former EUGENIO PACELLI then PAPAL NUNCIO to BERLIN in the 1930's - who was an acknowledged 'lover' of all things GERMAN(language, history, culture) making his staff speak only GERMAN. The present POPE - BENEDICT wishes PIUS XII to be beatified. BENEDICT a former unwilling member of the HITLER YOUTH when he was a boy in NAZI GERMANY - has a difficult role in convincing others of PIUS XII's supposed sainthood.
