on Iwo or Guadalcanal. Valuing death,
before supposed dishonor. A testament to themselves, enduring
attics of confinement ongoing in their minds.
Steadfastly resisting, a modern moneyed invasion;
they could never halt or understand. Memories filled
with Bataan tales. Atrocities that still truly march on,
with pistols and ceremonial swords of hate,
snared in cobwebbed, musty images of Pearl Harbor
that somehow justify the mushroomings of Hiroshima/Nagasaki.
While at Newport’s “Blackships Festival”,
Spectacular fireworks burst vermillion and green.
The color of ancient Shinto Shrines.
Foreign fireworks to set aglow those famous mansion tops.
All carefully arranged as forests of origami,
Which burn with a divine wind that once graced
The paper cities of Tokyo/Nagoya/Yokohama.
Where civilians clothes even now reek and smolder

(In July of 1932, thousands of Veterans of WWI marched/encampedon Washington,D.C. demanding the ‘BONUS’ they had been promisedfor their service in the ‘Great War’.)
On steps of the Pentagon
stood MacArthur, Eisenhower and Georgie Patton.
Jackboots proudly polished and shining.
Pointing with riding crops
at men who served their nation
and would now die.
Fellow soldiers they once commanded.
Men they would now condemn.
Men exasperated by borrowed scripts of promises.
Men with families far removed from the well—to—do.
We saw these dream-starved men of the Bonus Army,
encamped in hovels and gasping for dreams
on a hot July—day of anonymous martyrs in ‘32.
Have you ever been to Washington?
Is there any monument to these veterans?
Where, in our country’s capitol,
Men were burned alive on that avenue.
Where we erect statues to those stone

Fiery gods-of-war who triumphed.

During this happy masquerade
This procession of children out for Autumn play
A fitting prelude to the onetime seriousness
On ‘All-Hallows Day’
Many houses festooned with jack—o—lanterns
Smiling bright
For a special celebration that casts
Warm glows this night
With bags Lull of sweet-tooth desires
Boys and girls reach their goals
But there are some who turn out their lights
And sit in dark cubby-holes
Those ill—prepared grown—ups afraid
To be seen and stir about
Embarrassed as red-faced children,caught
When their candy all too quickly runs—out.

RUSH LIMBAUGH has gained international fame, influence, and multi-millions of dollars from his daily radio show.
LIMBAUGH is an outspoken conservative and delights in tweaking/prodding/pointing out what he considers the faults of LIBERALS – read PROGRESSIVES or however you choose to define yourselves.
With his money, connections; and his passion for pro-football LIMBAUGH wants to be a shareholder in a consortium angling to purchase the NFL’s St. Louis RAMS.[LIMBAUGH was born in Missouri and has further ties to the St. Louis NFL franchise.]
LIMBAUGH is a highly polarizing figure because of opinions voiced on his radio show. It might be stated that LIMBAUGH resurrected the medium of ‘talk radio’ since the late 1980’s.
Not being a religious listener/reader to Mr. LIMBAUGH or his show – the bits and snippets i have heard on occasion have been incendiary, pointed, and designed to draw reaction.
‘BLACKS’ comprise 70% of the players in the NFL. Notable ‘BLACK’ leaders such as the Rev. AL SHARPTON[ Of TAWANA BRAILEY fame in 1999 where on various instances he accused the State of New York’s Attorney General of covering Ms. BRAILEY in human feces and writing racial epithets on her naked body – obscuring the fact that Ms. BRAILEY concocted her own alleged kidnapping/abuse to avoid punishment by her strict parents which was proved in court at subsequent trials. SHARPTON & his cohorts in this nefarious plan went so far on tape/audio to proclaim that getting over with this scam/con “…Would make us the biggest niggers in New York!”] have taken umbrage with the likes of LIMBAUGH having an ownership position in a BLACK player dominated league.
Mr. SHARPTON sent a letter to NFL commissioner Roger Goodell saying Limbaugh has been divisive and “anti-NFL” in some of his comments.
SHARPTON has also criticized a recent quote in which Limbaugh, who grew up in Cape Girardeau, Missouri, said the NFL was beginning to look like a gang fight between the Crips and Bloods without the weapons.
NFL owner JIM IRSAY of the INDIANOPLIS COLTS said that Limbaugh’s rhetoric made him unattractive as a potential partner in the league.

Successful, wealthy, free-to-do as he pleases – LIMBAUGH is a prisoner of his own success.
If, if he did utter those vituperations utter absurdities about ‘BLACKS’, slavery – it should be easy to prove as LIMBAUGH’s every remark is recorded.

"For the first time, the Supreme Judicial Court ruled yesterday that the state constitution allows police to break into a suspect’s car to secretly install tracking devices using a global positioning system, provided that authorities have a warrant before they do so.
In a unanimous ruling written by Justice Judith Cowin, the state’s highest court upheld the drug trafficking conviction of Everett H. Connolly, a Cape Cod man who was tracked by State Police in 2004 after they installed a GPS device in his minivan.
The court said that using GPS devices as an investigative tool, which can require police to secretly break into a vehicle to install the device, does not violate the ban on unreasonable search and seizure in the state’s Declaration of Rights.
“We hold that warrants for GPS monitoring of a vehicle may be issued,’’ Cowin wrote. “The Commonwealth must establish, before a magistrate . . . that GPS monitoring of the vehicle will produce evidence’’ that a crime has been committed or will be committed in the near future.
The SJC said the devices can be installed for up to 15 days before police must show why the devices need to remain in place. Generally, search warrants expire after seven days.
William Leahy, chief counsel for the Committee on Public Counsel Service, said the SJC clearly built a new wall of protection for individuals when it comes to government use of electronic monitoring devices."

…in the early morning rain of ‘the Village’ we heard BOB DYLANWe met ‘CRAZY CAL’ as he was taking a pissin one of those square phone booths on McDougal Streetdown in the ‘Village’ you know ‘the Village’ as it was in the early 1960’s it was a time of experimentation and all and being open to all kinds of people and things “where you can't hop a jet plane like you can a freight train so its best to be on our ‘trippy’ way in the early morning rain with a dollar in our hands”*and the first time singing out his ‘Subterranean Homesick Blues’ cause there were no rules anymore just to do it be it experience all that was happening to us we saw that singer with his mouth harmonica attached to wires around his head while he strummed his guitar while ‘CRAZY CAL’ in his soiled beige raincoat offered us girls/women for a coupla’ bucks and they weren’t too bad too look at yeah WHITE and kinda’ clean and all yeah no not ‘cheap’ at all like common whores strutting their wares over on 8th Avenue all used-up and done-in by 3 in the afternoon by the bald businessmen getting ‘quickies’ before or after or during their work-days but the girls with ‘CRAZY CAL’ they were like high-school girls dressed without make-up in their leather thigh-high boots lolly-pop red hot-pants with low-cut blouses to show their bra-less young titties and the drops of rain caused their nipples to blossom dark and their areolas to strain against the wet fabric as if semen of a new procreative force had fallen from that sky in that coming cleansing rain of change on those old worn-out city streets cause this was a new attitude of freedom at least for titties and twats and us being able to watch and all and these ‘chicks’ seemed more than willing to be pimped off by this ‘BLACK guy’ while he smoked a reefer joint and pissed in his phone booth right on the corner there in front of everybody he didn’t seem to care jes yanked out his ‘johnson’ and took a ‘leak’ right there and offered us two raw potatoes or was he taking a ‘ride’ on some l.s.d.-hallucogen or jes playing with us making out like man he was really ‘stoned’ offering us two potatoes as if we were at some outdoor market selling ‘Idaho spuds’ and that kid BOB DYLAN strummed his guitar and kept trying to find ‘WOODY Guthrie’ and his AMERIKA lost on other highways of experience and this kid whose real name was Zimmerman or something that sounded/read so Jew-like played that mouth organ and sorta sang to us about how the whole world was gonna change and we always wondered why they called this area ‘the Village’ cuz men women guys girls wore their hair long and just hung out everywhere and held hands together like on Henry Street and BOB DYLAN with his long sorta brown curly-hair jes continued to sing at one club then seemingly another and the beer was cheap and sometimes cold and no one ever asked for us to prove our ages-of-innocence and the sweet smell of those ‘funny cigarettes’ was in the air everywhere and ‘CRAZY CAL’ asked us if we wanted to take a ‘trip’ and so the girl sitting with him at the table in the darkened club where light of reality didn’t seem to enter reaches under her skirt and pulls out this plastic pouch full of pills and opens it and for a minute I imagined she was pulling a baby out of her stomach but that was only after a few hits on that funny cigarette toke and hands us one pill each and eventually we drifted off to that place BOB DYLAN was singing about in that corner of ‘The Village’ that was a place in another time and all the dreary grey colours of the city in the memory mist of raining mourn became alive in brilliant reds + oranges + yellows + greens + BOB-DYLAN’s melancholy notes + violets and engulfed us and we were there in that subterranean vision of bluesy-woosey against the war chants and for civil rights marches - whatever that meant for the ‘Negroes’ in the South and all over for everybody cuz we were perfectly peaceful you know mellowed out by the beers the toke and the pills and the music and O.K. with ‘CRAZY CAL’ when that image of nightmare VIETNAM had barely entered our lexicon of lament and disabused dreams and sex was something new and unexpected only to be laughed about and not really thought-about because ‘abortion’ was still considered a ‘dirty word’ and really how many of us had really had sex and not lied about ‘it’ glorifying in our make believe conquests and triumphs besides ‘jerking-off’ to girls unattainable except in our dreams laid-out by “Playboy and Penthouse” full-colour-pink-pages and then like trying to ‘cop a feel or grab an ass or make our fingers and more - …in the early morning rain of ‘the Village’ we heard BOB DYLANWe met ‘CRAZY CAL’ as he was taking a pissin one of those square phone booths on McDougal Streetdown in the ‘Village’ you know ‘the Village’ as it was in the early 1960’s it was a time of experimentation and all and being open to all kinds of people and things “where you can't hop a jet plane like you can a freight train so its best to be on our ‘trippy’ way in the early morning rain with a dollar in our hands”*and the first time singing out his ‘Subterranean Homesick Blues’ cause there were no rules anymore just to do it be it experience all that was happening to us we saw that singer with his mouth harmonica attached to wires around his head while he strummed his guitar while ‘CRAZY CAL’ in his soiled beige raincoat offered us girls/women for a coupla’ bucks and they weren’t too bad too look at yeah WHITE and kinda’ clean and all yeah no not ‘cheap’ at all like common whores strutting their wares over on 8th Avenue all used-up and done-in by 3 in the afternoon by the bald businessmen getting ‘quickies’ before or after or during their work-days but the girls with ‘CRAZY CAL’ they were like high-school girls dressed without make-up in their leather thigh-high boots lolly-pop red hot-pants with low-cut blouses to show their bra-less young titties and the drops of rain caused their nipples to blossom dark and their areolas to strain against the wet fabric as if semen of a new procreative force had fallen from that sky in that coming cleansing rain of change on those old worn-out city streets cause this was a new attitude of freedom at least for titties and twats and us being able to watch and all and these ‘chicks’ seemed more than willing to be pimped off by this ‘BLACK guy’ while he smoked a reefer joint and pissed in his phone booth right on the corner there in front of everybody he didn’t seem to care jes yanked out his ‘johnson’ and took a ‘leak’ right there and offered us two raw potatoes or was he taking a ‘ride’ on some l.s.d.-hallucogen or jes playing with us making out like man he was really ‘stoned’ offering us two potatoes as if we were at some outdoor market selling ‘Idaho spuds’ and that kid BOB DYLAN strummed his guitar and kept trying to find ‘WOODY Guthrie’ and his AMERIKA lost on other highways of experience and this kid whose real name was Zimmerman or something that sounded/read so Jew-like played that mouth organ and sorta sang to us about how the whole world was gonna change and we always wondered why they called this area ‘the Village’ cuz men women guys girls wore their hair long and just hung out everywhere and held hands together like on Henry Street and BOB DYLAN with his long sorta brown curly-hair jes continued to sing at one club then seemingly another and the beer was cheap and sometimes cold and no one ever asked for us to prove our ages-of-innocence and the sweet smell of those ‘funny cigarettes’ was in the air everywhere and ‘CRAZY CAL’ asked us if we wanted to take a ‘trip’ and so the girl sitting with him at the table in the darkened club where light of reality didn’t seem to enter reaches under her skirt and pulls out this plastic pouch full of pills and opens it and for a minute I imagined she was pulling a baby out of her stomach but that was only after a few hits on that funny cigarette toke and hands us one pill each and eventually we drifted off to that place BOB DYLAN was singing about in that corner of ‘The Village’ that was a place in another time and all the dreary grey colours of the city in the memory mist of raining mourn became alive in brilliant reds + oranges + yellows + greens + BOB-DYLAN’s melancholy notes + violets and engulfed us and we were there in that subterranean vision of bluesy-woosey against the war chants and for civil rights marches - whatever that meant for the ‘Negroes’ in the South and all over for everybody cuz we were perfectly peaceful you know mellowed out by the beers the toke and the pills and the music and O.K. with ‘CRAZY CAL’ when that image of nightmare VIETNAM had barely entered our lexicon of lament and disabused dreams and sex was something new and unexpected only to be laughed about and not really thought-about because ‘abortion’ was still considered a ‘dirty word’ and really how many of us had really had sex and not lied about ‘it’ glorifying in our make believe conquests and triumphs besides ‘jerking-off’ to girls unattainable except in our dreams laid-out by “Playboy and Penthouse” full-colour-pink-pages and then like trying to ‘cop a feel or grab an ass or make our fingers and more - where two towers had graced the sky
far from the memorial attended by invited thousands
we cut over to 7th avenueto grab a ‘bite’ and some NYC culture at famous STAGE DELI accompanied by a waitress bemoaning about her lost tips
the late afternoon turned colder and suddenly greyer
past citizens walking talking going about their work-a-day lives
far from the memories of that day of death
that day of death for all those rescuers
police fire others just attempting to ‘help’
all mashed together in our memories and we slowly walked back-up 9th avenue
past the IRAQ RESTAURANT
name emblazoned in an outline map of bright red neon
patrons dressed in coats, hats, scarves
all alike faces drawn with age and frightened sorrow
as if they were relatives of one-clan
huddled together toward the back far away from windows in dark-sepia tones
like some serigraphs from centuries ago
waiting for the vengeance of NYers
that would never come upon them
the light quickly faded into blue-violet night at fall in this city
and suddenly we were at what we thought was an outdoor flower market
flowers everywhere bright bouquets which burst forth in colours and fragrant aromas
while young girls and old women walked among a peristyle reticulum of potted plants
silent saying nothing never speaking never acknowledging the presence of others
carefully to arrange flowers in calculated rows
and we realized this was one of the fire engine houses
that had answered those alarm bells that had rung
on that day of unannounced death
while the smell of fresh flowers scented the chill air
and i gasped and fell to my knees overcome knowing there was nothing to do
helpless crying for all the children who would never see their fathers again
crying for all the mothers who would never greet their children again
weeping uncontrollable tears for all the lovers that would never feel
hot breaths from naked concupiscent partners
again weeping for the pent-up emotions that I thought to hide so well
watching/observing those tear-choked masses at that memorial
as if i was of greater control
greater opprobrium
a greater controlled facade
about not letting my emotions reveal
that i had known many of those who had perished
leaping or buried under buildings fiery demise
i wept on my knees in that street
like Rachel weeping and wailing

shopping cart in tow possessions accounted for as a stunning blonde dressed in spandex baring her muscular midriff anonymous
in plastique fashionable helmet and dark glasses zips by on chartreuse rollerblades creating a slight breeze of erotic moment leaving this city of instant strangers with the ultimate realization that

With the CALIFORNIA SUPREME COURT's decision on PROP8 and the creation of two seperate unequal classes of GAYS - this issue will ultimately find its way to the SUPREME COURT of the UNITED STATES.
