The now pre-eminent 'cult' of the political leader...

In politics it seems it is not a matter of ideology or allignment to a particular philosophy. The case of the recently assassinated BENAZIR'Pinky'BHUTTO(so-named PINKY for her precepts to socialism/communism at her tenure at university) and her 'naming'/endowing the leadership of her political party to her 19 year-old son - suggests this passing-on of a 'cult' legacy - not just in PAKHISTAN or INDIA or EUROPE or CUBA but here in the UNITED STATES!!! Yes there were the NEHRU'S in INDIA and the CASTRO brothers in CUBA and now in AMERICA there are the ROOSEVELT'S, the CUOMO's. the KENNEDY's, the UDALL's, the MACK's, and now the BUSH families and the CLINTON families all 'wishing' to rule as 'kings&queens' once did on EUROPE!!! THIS IS THE 'CULT' OF PERSONALITY - NOT BELONGING TO TRUE 'DEMOCRACY' BUT TO AN ALLEGIANCE TO A POLITICAL FAMILY NO MATTER THEIR ETHICS!!! [What will not be reported/posted is the 'BHUTTO'S FAMILY' graft/illegal reimbursements/possible intimidations+murder from the time of her father(hung for crimes against PAKHISTAN) to BENAZIR and her husband 'charged' with accepting monies/bribes from companies going business with or in PAKHISTAN] OUR ALLEGIANCE SHOULD BE TO THE TENETS OF DEMOCRACY NOT TO THESE CHARISMATIC AND SOMETIMES CORRUPT POLITICAL LEADERS. And remember MITT'the-Mormon'ROMNEY comes from a long-line of politicos!!! Is he the heir-apparent - or the 'dauphin'-in-waiting???
